Puzzle Project
This lab tasked us to create a 3'' x 3'' x 3'' cube using CAD and 3D printers. My four group members and I each designed a piece of our puzzle in Fusion 360, requiring continuous collaboration to make sure our parts would fit together in our finished product. We then 3D printed each piece and successfully constructed our cube with a 27in^3 total volume.
Roof Rack Project One Pager
This lab involved the use of simulations within CAD. Using Fusion 360, I modified and simulated a roof rack under 600 lbs of force in order to test the safety factor, displacement, and yield point of the model. I took my data and designed a One-Pager to advertise my final model as a product, highlighting the different physical aspects that I tested virtually.
